Less Time, More Money

We had the chance to work with an ASX-listed company for its offshoring needs before we became Cybalink. At the time, the company showed a lot of potential, though it wasn’t as big as it is today. They chose us to help them reach that potential. While working with them, we noticed three important issues that needed to be dealt with: high overhead costs, data integrity issues, and very low productivity. Back then, they had a team comprised of only seven people. Set to grow exponentially, the client was chomping at the bit. But before they can set their sights on growth and achieve them, their processes needed a lot of work. For one, the client’s recruitment team struggled to work at maximum efficiency. There was plenty of data on the applicants and employees that needed to get into the system. On average, it took their team 60 seconds to put one certificate into the system. Needless to say, this took way too much time, especially with the large amounts of data that the team had to handle.

To make the process quicker and more streamlined, we set up an offshore team for our client. The company went from 7 personnel in their head office to 2 outsourced staff in Manila. Despite the difference in manpower, they were producing the same number of entries. And it was of better quality and with a faster entry time. As soon as the team got to work, the average entry time per certificate got cut down to just 20 seconds! Not to mention, this freed up the client’s onshore team to work on actually growing the company. In setting up a capable offshore team, we helped the client secure all the workforce they needed to support future growth at a relatively affordable cost for them. Over time, we helped the client’s offshore team grow further to accommodate the company’s expansion. As a result, they grew further into a team of 8. And today, the client has 45 outsourced hires, including a full offshore engineering team.

This trial run proved to be very successful. In addition to workforce support, we helped the client significantly lower their costs. Through our solutions, the company has expanded its outsourced roles to 45 positions leading to a $3 million savings in their labour overhead annually.
